Our Story
Harbinger Moon Communications emerges as a catalyst for systemic change, weaving narratives to illuminate the path towards a more just world that empowers people to tap into their intuition to reach their goals and heal as a collective.
Our mission is to amplify the voices of individuals with lived experiences, shedding light on prevailing inequities through diverse digital media.
Founded by Nancy Cairns, Harbinger Moon began as her personal blog—a platform for introspection and knowledge-sharing. Since then, it has blossomed into a dynamic communications hub, driving forward the discourse and actions essential for a fairer society.
Our Founder
Nancy Cairns (she/her) is a dynamic single mother of three, championing diversity and inclusion. With a background in municipal government and politics spanning over a decade, she specializes in communications, staff wellness, as well as equity, diversity, inclusion and belonging (EDIB) strategies. Based in Ottawa, Ontario, which is located on the traditional un-ceded, un-surrendered territory of the Anishinaabe Algonquin People.
